Front/Back Raddle The Front/Back Raddle is a raddle that can be mounted on either the front (breast)
beam or the back top
beam. It will fit all Gilmore Compact looms. When mounted on the beams it can be set to be an open raddle or a closed raddle. It comes with a set of special clamps that will not hurt the
beams. It can also
take the place of the reed in the shuttle race reed slot. Mounted
closed raddle
Mounted open raddle

Warp
Tensioner The Warp Tensioner attaches to the back
top beam of the Gilmore loom. It comes with three different
dent reeds that are used for different
sized threads, or "ends per inch". By varying the way you wrap the threads around the guide dowels
you can vary the tension of the treads for sectional warping.

BOAT
SHUTTLES
Gilmore
boat shuttles are made from hardwood maple. Pictured above
are the 4 main types. A1, A2 The large
shuttle can either hold one long spool (A1) or can hold two
small spools (A2). It is 1 1/4" high x 1 7/8" wide x 16
1/2" long. B The medium
shuttle holds one small spool and is 1 1/4" x 1 7/8"
x 13 1/2" long C This is a small
shuttle that is still large enough to hold a small spool. It
is 1 1/4" x 1 7/8" x 10 1/2" long. D
This is a small "K" shuttle specially
designed by Kertis. It rides well next to the reed along the shuttle
race, taking advantage of the most shed. It also holds a small spool
and is 1 1/4" x 1 7/8" x 10 1/2" long.
Rug
and Stick Shuttles

12
Yard Warping
Frame The Warping Frame is extremely strong
and will hold 12 yards. It is designed to allow a lease cross at
the bottom, the top, or both. The basic frame is made of 1 1/2 x
2 1/2 inch thick poplar. The joints are mortise and tenon
and the outside dimensions are 29 inches x 38 1/2 inches. The 20
dowels are 7/8" hard maple and extend 6 inches up from the
frame.
.

Small
Collapsing 4 1/2 Yard Warping
Frame Perfect for short or narrow warping
projects, Inkle Looms, and table looms. Made of beautiful grained
oak hardwood with a lacquer finish. The 4 parts easiy slip
together to form a strong frame tightened securely with easy
to turn knobs that also serve as feet. The 12 dowels are
1/2" hard maple and extend 5 1/2 inches from the frame. The
outside dimensions are 22" X 20".

Warping
Wedge The
Warping Wedge is another need to have tool for warping. A Warping Wedge placed under the frames or shafts will lift
them in a stairstep pattern. In this position it is easy
to see which frame's heddles you are working on. Warping Wedges
can be placed to lift front to back or back to front. It will work
on all Gilmore looms. These are an inexpensive must accessory
and have been a big
hit at CNCH Conferences.

NEW
Item Shuttle
Shelf The
Shuttle Shelf is made of hard maple. The shelf surface is
12 inches long and 4 1/2 in. wide with a lip on either side.
It has a clamp on the bottom that can widen out to 2 1/2 inches
so it can fit many places such as a tray or beam. It is ideal for
a shuttle or two to rest on while weaving.

Kromski spinning
and weaving products
Gilmore Looms is proud to
offer a full line of Kromski products. We have found these products
to be of excellent quality craftsmanship and price. Below we list a few of our favorites. Spinning
wheels The Kromski
company makes several spinning wheels which vary in their design
and operation. The wheels are named the Prelude, the Minstrel, the
Polonaise, the Mazurka, and the Symphony. All are made of beautiful
European alder and birch hardwoods with no plastic parts. The
standard bobbins used on these wheels are all the same size. These
spinning wheels come boxed as a kit but go together quickly and
easily, especially
with the helpful included video. You can order them unfinished,
or finished with an exceptional clear, walnut,
or mahogany finish. A Quick
Change Flyer Set is also available for all but the Prelude spinning
wheel. This will make changing bobbins on a double drive set-up
easier. The spindle on the flyer "breaks" at the base
of the flyer allowing you to pull off the flyer and the bobbin without
removing the whorl or the drive band from the whorl. The Quick Change
Flyer requires different bobbins than the standard ones.
THE
PRELUDE We find that the Prelude
is our favorite for smooth easy operation, and price. It has the
look of an antique wheel and the high degree of wood turning that
the Kromskis are famous for, but it also has all the touches modern
spinners expect. The Prelude is a single drive wheel and uses the
same bobbins as all the other Kromski wheels.
 The
Prelude Prelude
folded up The Prelude is easy to treadle,
easy to transport, and has an 18" diameter wheel for excellent
ratios. If you like, you can swivel the mother-of-all in line with
the bench for a more compact "package" when moving the
wheel or for storage. The Prelude is made of European alder and
birch. Additional specifications: • 18"
wheel diameter • orifice height- 26"; size- 3/8" •

Rigid Heddle Table Loom:
The Harp
The
Harp The
Harp folded up Warping
on the back (Optional)
Harp Floor Stand and Tote
Bag
In 2002 the Kromskis have added an innovative rigid
heddle loom with several innovative features. The Kromski Harp has
a warping board integral to its design; turn over the loom and you
can make your warp (five yards plus). When you get ready to travel,
take your Harp with you; it folds to be more compact (with the warp
attached) and fits neatly into the Kromski tote bag (optional).
The Harp is made of European alder wood with a clear finish.
Your Harp comes with a 10-dent heddle, 2 stick shuttles,
a pick-up stick, threading hook, 2 clamps,
warping board pegs and the very helpful “warp helper”.
Also included is an excellent video that explains assembly
and how to set up and weave with the Harp. The Harp is available in 16",
24" and 32" widths (actual weaving widths are slightly
smaller). The Kromski Tote,
extra heddles, extra heddle blocks (for more complex weaving) and
Stand are available separately
The optional Floor Stand
allows you to work off the table. There are places to store the
pegs that make up the back warping board. The stored pegs form
a ledge to hold shuttles, yarn or other supplies. The Harp can be
folded on the stand for storage. The Stand comes in 16", 24"
and 32" sizes to fit the three available Harp widths. The
Tote Bags are made of polycanvas and feature canvas handles
and a shoulder strap. The base of the tote is re-inforced to provide
sturdy support of your loom with its warp held in place. And there
is still plenty of room for lots of other weaving materials. Tote
Bags come in three sizes for the available Harp widths. Note:
the 32" Harp does not have an arch on the heddle; manufacturing
constraints makes shaping the wood for this size impractical. The
Harp comes boxed as a kit but goes together quickly, especially
with the helpful video
Tensioned Lazy Kates
Upright
Tensioned Kate Arch
Tensioned Kate The Lazy Kate holds
up to three bobbins. The bobbin rods are heavy metal with a fancy
wooden knob on the end. The tensioned Kate will accommodate most
other brands of bobbins including Ashford (standard bobbins), Jensen,
Reeves, Timbertops, Majacraft and Lendrum (regular and very fast
bobbins). The Upright Kate and the Arched Kate come unfinished.
An Upright Kate is included with the Polonaise wheel, and an
Arched Kate is included with the Mazurka and Polonaise spinning
wheels.
Nidy Noddies,
Bobbins, Nostepinne, and Spinning
Stool
 You
can't spin without having a Niddy Noddy. The Kromskis make three
sizes for three different size skeins: 30", 48" and 72".
The two smaller sizes are available in walnut and mahogany. The
large Niddy is available unfinished, with a clear finish, and with
a walnut or mahogany stain finish. The sturdy Spinning Stool
has a contoured seat that will let you spin for hours. The legs
allow adjustments from 17" to 18.5" in seat height. Available
unfinished, or finished in walnut or mahogany.
Small
Mazurka mini spinning wheel The
Small Mazurka is a scaled down version of the Mazurka and while
it has the look of a working wheel it lacks a functional flyer.
But everything else works. The treadle drives the wheel which in
turn spins the flyer, but there is no orifice or working bobbin.
It stands about 24" tall and the wheel is 9.5" in diameter.
It comes in finished colors.
